Synopsis
This series has been broadcast on leading channels in New Zealand and Australia. With tongue-in-cheek and slightly adult humour, this series is based on local Maori comm off New Zealand. It provides comedic insight into the nature of New Zealand’s Maori/Polynesian culture. It is a modern day fairytale about five Auckland teenagers growing up in the big bad city. It chronicles the schoolboy misadventures of Vale, Valea, Sione, Mack and Jeff da Maori in a proudly suburban, non PC satire.The series has received top honours for the best com¬edy script in the New Zealand Screen Awards held in 2005.
